I document weddings by blending an editorial approach with candid documentary. I’m very attentive to light, atmosphere and the subtleties of human connection. The result is a body of work that feels like art; but authentic-to-you art. The photographs honour the elegance of the event while remaining true to the people who gave it life.
On being photographedBeing photographed is a strange experience for most people. Some love it. Some dread it. Most fall somewhere in the middle.
You don’t need to arrive at your wedding knowing how to pose. Part of my job is reading the people in front of the camera. If you’re relaxed and expressive, I’ll let that energy carry the photograph. If you’re unsure, I’ll guide things so you’re never left feeling awkward.
For much of the day I photograph things as they happen.
At certain points we turn our attention to making something more intentional.
Portraits, or those moments when you’re getting ready with your bridesmaids, are where I take the lead. I’ll choose the space, work with the light, adjust the scene and direct you with a clear vision of the image we’re creating. Think of it a little like having a calm creative director for a moment — someone shaping the scene while you stay present in it.
Before the wedding we’ll have already talked about the feel of the day and what matters to you. So when those moments arrive, you can simply trust the process and enjoy it.

I care about craft - genuinely, in most areas of my life. I make things, I notice things, and I love tinkering with and perfecting details.
I've always been drawn to frescoes. There's a reason they've lasted thousands of years. That's what a photograph can be for you, not just a record of a day, but something that still radiates warmth when you look at it years later.
